Dear Parents/Guardians,
This month’s Newsletter will issue shortly. In the meantime here are some important points to note:
This Friday, 2nd June, is a half day for Staff Training. School will close at 12.30 (Infants 12.25). Please collect children promptly and advise all minders/collectors of this. There will be Swimming for 3rd and 6th, Irish Dancing classes will go ahead also but there will be no Tennis for 6th Class (an extra day, 23rd June has been added to replace 2nd June).
School is closed on 5th June for one day only for the Bank Holiday.
8th June is Hawaiian Day – more information to follow in Newsletter This is also the day when parents of incoming Junior Infants come in to meet Mrs Gallagher.
10th June is Open Day – more information to follow in Newsletter.
As the weather is getting warmer, please remember to put sun cream on the children prior to coming into school and to make sure that they have water bottles and sun hats. Also please ensure that their school uniform is named to avoid mix ups if jumpers are being taken off during the day.
We have signed up for Tesco Blue tokens and these will be available from today in Tesco Shankill so please put them in the Rathmichael slot!
Thanks to everyone who has signed up to help with the Fete. If you did not pass your name on to help but would like to be involved, please email as helpers are always needed.
Finally many thanks to those of you who left in clothes for Liberty recycling. We received €135 towards PTA funds.
