Mrs. Senior’s Blog September 2022

School returned on 31st August. Our return meant embracing the Fete which has also returned following a two-year absence. The community is excited to see this return. It is all systems go with clearing out homes of toys, books and knick knacks. A week of sorting and dividing ensued. Everyone was delighted to have it back. A huge success. Many many thanks to all who pitched in and also to those who helped return the school to a super standard.

For new parents it was a great way to meet other parents and get involved from the beginning.

The children were excited to have it return with games and fancy dress, burgers and fun!

This event involves everyone, including the staff, PTA, Board of Management and the community. There are very few events which involve so many willing volunteers.

We look ahead now to Harvest, Charity events like Team Hope and indeed Christmas and all it encompasses. The staff are ready and working hard. The children are refreshed and raring to go.

What a summer we had. We cannot complain about the weather whether we got away or stayed to enjoy our beautiful country.

Let’s look forward to a super term with a very positive feel.
